Session Specifics
For your health and mine, if you have a cold, flu, respiratory infection, sinusitis or any systemic infectious disease, please reschedule when you are recovered! Massage can make symptoms increase as the lymph and immune systems can become overloaded.
Extra attention to your water intake to insure that you are fully hydrated 24 hours before and after your session will maximize restorative effects of massage. This is a different amount of water for each person, so make sure to listen to your body’s needs.
Avoiding alcohol and caffeine at least 24 hours before and after massage increases benefits as well.
Massage Flow
After asking questions about your general health so that I can design a safe and effective treatment, I'll leave the room to wash up.
At this point you can disrobe to your level of comfort and get onto the massage table beneath the sheet and blanket. An effective treatment can be given through clothing if you choose not to disrobe. Should this be the case, please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes. When you are settled beneath the covers, I'll return to begin treatment. You'll be draped during treatment for modesty and warmth, and I'll only undrape areas that receive work.

After a massage can be a great time for an Epsom salt bath! You can use 4-5 cups Epsom salts to support the release of metabolic waste.
