I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts, in Portland, OR, in 2012. I'm an Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist and an insured professional member of American Massage Therapy Association. I've studied different modalities in bodywork over the years; there's so much to learn in this field and I'll never be able to learn it all! I like to start with the client and apply modalities that fit. I blend modalities to suit each client's specific needs. I use rehabilitative, relaxation, Thai, and Structural/Myofascial/Deep Tissue techniques to create client specific and goal oriented sessions. I love to work with pregnant people and new parents and am certified by Carole Osborne's Body Therapy Education. I study Oncology touch methods for people with a history of living with cancer. My Bachelor of Arts degree is in Fine Art (drawing) and Literature from Lewis and Clark College in 2004.
I have lots of reverence for the community spirit that caring groups of individuals create together. I'm a Neighborhood Emergency Team member, like to work on Backyard Habitats, have received training as a Wilderness First Responder and I love to be outside.
In my free time I like to hide in books, go camping, explore PNW hiking trails rain or shine, garden, cook, talk to animals, contemplate nature and share time with friends and family. I live in Portland, Oregon in the SE Richmond neighborhood.
